On Friday, May 1, the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce proudly joined community members, local businesses, and elected officials in celebrating the official ribbon cutting for Thrive Wellness Lounge.
Despite dreary skies and a light rain throughout the afternoon, the atmosphere inside Thrive Wellness Lounge was anything but gloomy. The event was filled with energy, conversation, and excitement as attendees gathered to welcome a new wellness-focused business to the community.
A Vision Rooted in Personal Experience
Thrive Wellness Lounge was founded by cousins Katie Marou and Kari Manna, whose own personal wellness journeys inspired them to create a space where others could experience the same life-changing benefits they discovered themselves.
What began as a shared vision rooted in health and healing has now become a welcoming environment dedicated to helping others prioritize wellness and self-care.
As Katie and Kari officially cut the ribbon, caught in action, to symbolically open the doors of Thrive Wellness Lounge, the moment reflected not only the launch of a business, but the realization of a dream built through passion and perseverance.
Strong Community Support
The ribbon cutting ceremony was well attended and demonstrated the strong spirit of collaboration within the Greece business community. Town of Greece Supervisor Jeff McCann joined Chamber members, guests, and supporters in recognizing the importance of investing in businesses that contribute to the health and well-being of local residents.
The event also highlighted partnerships and connections with other wellness-focused and community-oriented businesses, including MOKA Energy and LifeWave X39 wellness products.
Guests enjoyed an inviting atmosphere filled with conversation, networking, and refreshments, including beautifully decorated specialty cookies featuring the Thrive Wellness Lounge logo and “fire” and “ice” themes, as seen in the pictures below, a thoughtful touch that added to the celebratory feel of the afternoon!
