The Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce welcomed members to its 2026 Annual Meeting & Luncheon on June 24 at the Pavilion at Greece Town Hall. The annual gathering provided an opportunity for Chamber leadership to reflect on the organization’s progress over the past year, share its vision for the future, elect new members to the Board of Directors, and introduce an exciting new brand identity that reflects the Chamber’s continued evolution.

Members enjoyed lunch provided by Chick Magnet Restaurant of Henrietta, which also shared the exciting news that it will soon be opening a location in the Greece community. The Chamber also extends its appreciation to event sponsor The Village at Mill Landing for helping make this year’s luncheon possible.

Working Together for a Stronger Greece

Town of Greece Supervisor Jeff McCann served as the event’s guest speaker, emphasizing the important relationship between local government, the business community, and the residents who call Greece home. He spoke about how the continued success of the town depends on these groups working together, supporting one another, and sharing a common vision for the future.

His remarks reinforced a principle that has long guided the Chamber’s mission: when businesses thrive, the community benefits, and when community leaders, residents, and local businesses work together, Greece becomes an even stronger place to live, work, and do business.

A Year of Growth and Momentum

During his State of the Chamber address, President and CEO John Adams highlighted the progress the Chamber has made over the past year. He spoke about the organization’s continued commitment to strengthening its financial foundation, increasing member engagement, embracing new technology, and building stronger partnerships throughout the Greece community and the greater Rochester region.

The Annual Meeting serves as an important opportunity for Chamber members to learn how their organization is growing and to help shape its future through the election of members to the Board of Directors.

Introducing a New Brand Identity

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the unveiling of the Chamber’s new logo, marking an important milestone in the organization’s continued growth.

Developed by the Chamber’s Marketing Committee, co-chaired by Chad Zambito of WROC-TV Channel 8 and Keith Opp of 2218 Creative, with collaboration from Jenn Piper of Volare AI, the redesigned logo reflects the Chamber’s mission of helping businesses connect, grow, and thrive.

The logo features flowing blue and green elements that symbolize the relationships, partnerships, and momentum that drive business success while paying tribute to Greece’s connection to Lake Ontario and the area’s waterways.

As John Adams shared during the presentation, “More than a new logo, this represents who we are as an organization.” The new identity reflects not only a fresh visual look, but also the Chamber’s continued commitment to innovation, collaboration, and providing value to its members. The logo serves as a visual representation of an organization that continues to evolve while remaining dedicated to strengthening the local business community.

Members who were unable to attend the luncheon can view the logo introduction video on the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce website.

Welcoming New Leadership

The Chamber also elected four new members to its Board of Directors:

  • Brandon Barnhart, Vice President and Senior Branch Manager, M&T Bank
  • Christi Alvarado, Assistant Vice President, Community Banker, NBT Bank
  • Keith Opp, Founder & CEO, 2218 Creative
  • Michelle Betters, Assistant to the Director of Planning & Economic Development, Town of Greece

These individuals bring a wealth of professional experience and community involvement that will help guide the Chamber as it continues to grow and serve its members.

Looking Ahead

The Annual Meeting is more than a yearly business meeting. It is an opportunity for members to celebrate accomplishments, participate in the governance of their Chamber, and look toward the future together.

The themes shared throughout the afternoon, from Supervisor McCann’s message of collaboration to the introduction of the Chamber’s new brand identity, reflected a common vision: a thriving Greece is built through strong partnerships among businesses, community organizations, local government, and residents.

With dedicated volunteers, engaged members, and a renewed vision for the future, the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce remains committed to helping businesses connect, grow, and thrive while continuing to strengthen the community it proudly serves.
