The Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce kicked off August with a lively First Friday Networking Breakfast on Friday, August 7, hosted at the Greece location of Whelpley & Paul, 3180 Latta Road in Rochester. The event was well attended, filling the location with Chamber members eager to connect, catch up with colleagues, and meet new members of the business community.
A Full House and Plenty of Conversation
The turnout was so strong that when it was time for introductions, attendees gathered together in the center of the location so everyone could see and hear one another. What could have been a crowded moment quickly became part of the fun, with plenty of joking, laughter, and good-natured camaraderie throughout the introductions.
Over coffee, refreshments, and conversation, members had an opportunity to talk about their businesses, make connections, and strengthen relationships with fellow Chamber members. The energy in the room was a great reminder of why these monthly gatherings continue to be such a valuable part of the Chamber’s networking calendar.
Getting Ready for Taste of the Town
With the Chamber’s upcoming Taste of the Town event approaching, it was also a frequent topic of conversation throughout the morning. Chamber board members and staff made sure no one left without hearing several reminders to reserve a booth and take part in the event.
The repeated reminders quickly became a source of laughter among the group, but the message was clear: don’t miss your opportunity to be part of Taste of the Town, Sunday August 23! The event provides another opportunity for Chamber members to showcase their businesses, connect with the community, and enjoy an evening together.
