On June 29, the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce welcomed golfers, sponsors, and community partners to Brook-Lea Country Club for its Annual Golf Tournament, presented by West Herr Automotive Group. Under beautiful sunny skies, participants enjoyed a day of friendly competition, networking, and camaraderie, all while supporting an important cause through the Greece Chamber Charitable Foundation.
Established in 2002, the Greece Chamber Charitable Foundation is a nonprofit organization led by a dedicated board of community volunteers. For more than 20 years, the Foundation has supported programs that prepare young people for success in education and business by providing funding for local organizations, community projects, and educational initiatives.
Today, the Foundation’s primary focus is supporting nursing education through scholarship grants for local nursing students. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will help further that mission by investing in the education of future healthcare professionals who will go on to serve our communities.
Throughout the day, golfers enjoyed the beautiful course at Brook-Lea Country Club while reconnecting with colleagues, meeting new business partners, and strengthening the relationships that make the Greece business community so successful. The tournament offered the perfect combination of networking, recreation, and philanthropy, demonstrating how local businesses can come together to make a lasting impact.
Events like the Annual Golf Tournament highlight the important role the business community plays in supporting educational opportunities and investing in the future workforce. Every participant, sponsor, and volunteer contributed to a day that will have a lasting impact beyond the fairways.
