Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce

The Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce welcomed members and guests to its May “First Friday” Networking Breakfast on May 1, 2026, hosted at the Greece Town Hall. The event brought together local professionals, business leaders, and community members for a morning centered on connection, collaboration, and community engagement.

A Morning Focused on Community

From the moment attendees arrived, the atmosphere reflected the strong sense of partnership that continues to define the Greece business community. Chamber members gathered over coffee and conversation while enjoying a beautifully prepared continental breakfast featuring fresh pastries and yogurt parfaits with trail mix.

The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared by members of the local high school culinary program, whose professionalism and attention to detail added a special element to the morning and highlighted the talent and dedication of students within the Greece community.

Welcoming Chamber Members to Town Hall

Town of Greece Supervisor Jeff McCann welcomed attendees and spoke about the importance of maintaining strong relationships between local government, businesses, and community organizations. His remarks reinforced the value of creating opportunities where businesses and residents can connect, share ideas, and continue investing in the future of Greece.

The event also gave members the opportunity to experience the Town Hall facilities firsthand through a guided tour of the building and recreational spaces. Attendees explored several of the Town’s amenities, including:

  • The indoor walking trackgr
  • Spin room
  • Gymnasium
  • Outdoor skate park

The tour provided a unique look at the resources available to residents and community groups and sparked conversations about wellness, recreation, and community accessibility.

Building Relationships Beyond the Workplace

As with previous First Friday events, the true value of the morning came from the conversations taking place throughout the room. Members had the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new professionals, and strengthen relationships that continue to support local business growth throughout the region.

Events like these demonstrate that networking is not simply about exchanging business cards, it is about building long-term relationships rooted in trust, visibility, and shared investment in the community.

An Opportunity for Future Chamber Hosts of Friday Networking

The Town of Greece also shared that Chamber members and community organizations without dedicated office or meeting space may have the opportunity to host similar networking events utilizing Town facilities. For not-for-profit organizations such as the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce, these spaces may be available on a complimentary basis.

Additionally, organizations may have the option to partner with the high school culinary program to provide continental breakfast service similar to the outstanding presentation enjoyed during this event at a very reasonable rate.

This collaboration represents another example of how local institutions can work together to create welcoming, professional spaces that support business engagement and community connection.

The Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce extends its appreciation to the Town of Greece, Supervisor Jeff McCann, the high school culinary program, and all attendees who helped make the May First Friday Networking Breakfast such a successful and memorable event.
